Window View on a Rainy Day

Rain makes me grateful.

Grateful for the things that it washes away.

Grateful for the nourishment it provides.

Grateful for the optimism it inspires,

of things that may grow

that I cannot even imagine yet.

Rain also brings an anticipation of the sunny days to follow.

It allows me a space to just be.

To think

To not think

To be reflective

And to heal.

Just to take in the world outside

and the world inside.

It can just clear a space.

One of peace and silence.

Enjoy the rain and don’t worry about what is to come.

It will be beautiful.

  1. Well done Christine. Adding another talent to your already large repertoire. Very proud of all you have accomplished over the last few years.
